Association Membership


Founded in 1982 by a group of friends of Cedar Bog, the Association works to assure the long-term preservation and protection of the Bog through educational and informational programs.

MEMBERS of Cedar Bog Association Enjoy:

  1. Free admission to the Bog during normal open hours, A discount on Association and Ohio Historical Society publications
  2. Reduction or remission of fees for certain Association and Society programs
  3. Participation in programs offered only to members
  4. Being informed about events at the Bog through the Cedar Bog Newsletter
  5. Membership is open to all persons or organizations that are interested in Cedar Bog.

Membership Application

CEDAR BOG ASSOCIATION CONTRIBUTIONS Are Used to Support:

  1. Publication of educational material about Cedar Bog.
  2. Sponsorship of programs and workshops about the bog.
  3. Preparation of educational exhibits about Cedar Bog.
  4. Construction of interpretive facilities at Cedar Bog.
  5. Attendance at scienfitic meetings and workshops by Cedar Bog personnel.
  6. Sponsorship of research on the flora and fauna, geology and ecology of Cedar Bog.
  7. Study of restoration management application to Cedar Bog.
  8. Protection of the Bog from potential encroachment from incompatible development.

All contributions to the Cedar Bog Association are Tax Deductible
The Federal and State ID numbers are available upon request
