Association Membership
Founded in 1982 by a group of friends of Cedar Bog, the Association works to assure the long-term preservation and protection of the Bog through educational and informational programs.
MEMBERS of Cedar Bog Association Enjoy:
- Free admission to the Bog during normal open hours, A discount on Association and Ohio Historical Society publications
- Reduction or remission of fees for certain Association and Society programs
- Participation in programs offered only to members
- Being informed about events at the Bog through the Cedar Bog Newsletter
- Membership is open to all persons or organizations that are interested in Cedar Bog.

CEDAR BOG ASSOCIATION CONTRIBUTIONS Are Used to Support:
- Publication of educational material about Cedar Bog.
- Sponsorship of programs and workshops about the bog.
- Preparation of educational exhibits about Cedar Bog.
- Construction of interpretive facilities at Cedar Bog.
- Attendance at scienfitic meetings and workshops by Cedar Bog personnel.
- Sponsorship of research on the flora and fauna, geology and ecology of Cedar Bog.
- Study of restoration management application to Cedar Bog.
- Protection of the Bog from potential encroachment from incompatible development.
