Cedar Bog Historical Marker Ceremony

July 25, 2004 was the culmination of many people's hard word and dedication to Cedar Bog. Cedar Bog became the first site in Champaign County to have an Ohio Historical Society Historical Marker.

The Cedar Bog Association provided the funds and Terry Jaworski provided the text. Thirty-seven people attended the ceremony including Association Members, Ohio Historical Society Board members, Bog Volunteers, Bicentennial Committee Members, and others who support Cedar Bog.

Speakers included Sandy Gonzalez, Chairman of the Bicentennial Marker Committee; Charles Johnson, Chairman of the Champaign County Bicentennial Committee; J.D. Britton, Director of Local History Office of the Ohio Historical Society; Ralph Ramey, Former Board Member of the Ohio Historical Society; and Terry Jaworski, Site Manager of Cedar Bog.
