Brown Snake: storeria dekayi
Eastern Garter Snake: Thamnophis sirtalis sirtalis This is a very common snake at Cedar Bog, especially in wet grassy fields. Their stripes are usually yellow but some of them at Cedar Bog have bold orange stripes. The pictures have examples of both. The two of the snake with orange stripes are from Cedar Bog. Spotted turtles are one of the unique species that are found in Cedar Bog. These turtles are very elusive but have been seen in Cedar Run both north of and south of Woodburn Rd. These pictures are from Clark Co., OH and Greene Co., OH.
